“We” in this notice means this business.

Cookies and browser storage

Until you decide, there are no cookies on this site. Consent starts as “not given” and no external code is loaded — and if you decline, none ever is.

If your browser sends a “do not track me” signal (Global Privacy Control), we do not ask at all: we treat the decision as a refusal.

Separately from cookies, three preferences are kept in your browser. These are not cookies, are never sent to a server, and all three are your own choice:

• dk-theme — whether you prefer the light or dark appearance.
• dk-motion — whether you have paused background motion.
• dk-riza — your cookie decision and the date you made it.

Which cookies, and what for?

The following load only if you allow them. The two categories are separate: you may allow one and refuse the other.

The cookies are written by Google, not by us; their names and lifetimes are set by Google and the current list is published on Google’s own cookie page.

• Visit statistics — to see, in aggregate, which pages get read. Tool: Google Analytics 4.
• Ad measurement — to measure visitors who arrive from an ad, and to personalise ads. Tool: Google Ads.
• Tag manager — the technical layer that loads the two tools above. It does not measure anything on its own. Tool: Google Tag Manager.

If you arrived from an ad

If you arrived by clicking a Google ad, the click identifier Google generates (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) is stored in your browser under the name “dk-tiklama”, and is appended as a short reference line at the end of the WhatsApp message prepared when you submit the request form.

It has a single purpose: to let us measure which ad actually led to a booking. This identifier does not describe you; it contains no name, phone number or email address.

None of this happens unless you have allowed ad measurement. If you do not, the identifier is never stored and nothing is added to your message; if you withdraw your consent, the record is deleted.

Third parties

Unless you allow them, your browser connects only to this site’s own server. You can check this yourself: open your browser’s network tab, decline cookies and reload — no request goes to any external address, googletagmanager.com included.

If you do allow them, Google Tag Manager is loaded and only the categories you chose are active.

The map in the location section is not an embedded service but an image on our own server; the OpenStreetMap link beneath it is an attribution only. So your IP address reaches no external service unless you click.

Outbound links (WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps, phone) open only when you click them, and from that point the privacy policy of the relevant company applies.

Transfer abroad

If you allow cookies, the measurement data is processed on Google’s servers outside Türkiye. Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK art. 9) this is a transfer abroad, and its only basis is your explicit consent.

If you do not allow it, no such transfer happens — because no data is produced to send.

Where do the forms go?

The forms on this site do not send your data to our server. When you submit one, what you wrote is turned into a ready message that opens in your own WhatsApp app. You decide whether to send it; if you do not, nothing reaches us.

In practice this means there is no record held by us until your request actually reaches us. The record begins the moment you send the message, on WhatsApp.

From the moment you move to WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) own privacy policy also applies; how that service handles data is not under our control.

What we process, and why

We process the information you share when you reach us by WhatsApp, phone or email. Typically that is:

• Your name — so we can address you properly and match your request.
• Your phone number and/or email address — so we can reply.
• Dates, number of guests, room preference — so we can check availability.
• Any notes you write yourself — only so we can understand your request.

Legal basis

This data is processed under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, in order to answer your request and to establish a contractual relationship with you (Art. 5/2-c). For the free text you choose to write to us, the basis is your explicit consent (Art. 5/1) — which you may withdraw at any time.

For cookies, the only legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 5/1). Withdrawing it is as easy as giving it: the “cookie preferences” link at the foot of the page reopens the banner. The moment you withdraw, the tools receive the new state, and on the next page load they are not loaded at all.

Declining restricts nothing. The site, the services and the booking route work exactly the same; we do not hold content hostage to consent.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them and we do not share them with third parties.

How long it is kept

Once your request is concluded, we keep the correspondence only for as long as the applicable legislation requires us to. At the end of that period the record is deleted.

If you would like it deleted sooner, simply write to us through the channels below.

Your rights (Art. 11)

The law gives you the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request erasure or destruction; request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

What this notice does not cover

This notice covers THIS WEBSITE and the contact made through it. Processes that begin when you check in — the accommodation record, the identity notification required by law, whether there is CCTV on the premises — are outside this notice and require separate information.

We do not describe them here because writing them without verification would mean making a promise we cannot stand behind. If something is unclear, please just ask; we would rather say “we do not know” than guess.

Changes

Every technical statement on this page was verified in a browser before publication — not written and left unchecked.

The notice follows the site’s real behaviour: when a new measurement tool is added, this page changes with it by itself. If a new third party joins the list, consent you gave earlier is treated as void and you are asked again.
